i have a 88 na fc it is really hard to start it might take a good min to start. but when it starts its fine an drives normal could this be that the fuel pump is going out but when the car gets started i its runs fine but when the cars has ran an i turn it off it will start right up an ides

 

It could be an issue with the water temp sensor on the back of the water pump housing. If the sensor is disconnected, cold starts can be difficult. However hot starts should be easy.
