Not if you have the parts. The bracket, pump and rack.

The a/c would be a little more of a pia due to the condenser and all the hard piping running to it.

Not too sure about the wiring though now that I think about it. I would assume your harnesses would have the connectors, but I could be off there.

Cheers Chris

I don't mean to second guess you, but why spend money and time adding the power steering? I just ripped mine out and even in my heavy convertible its not bad, even standing still, and it feels so much better at speed. I'm just asking. Good luck.

This was covered a couple of weeks ago. The 86-87 cars that came without PS do no have the electrical connections for the PS pump and computer. Even if you install PS, you probably won't have much if any real assist because of this. All cars were wired up for factory a/c I believe...I've only ever seen one FC without a/c in my life, but Ive seen plenty without PS.

Damn i must have gotten one of the ULTRA-RARE(kidding) poor *** bitch base models on my 87 n/a then. it doesn't even have the tubing coming out of the firewall or anything required for A/C. it's just block off plates where the hard lines should be run.

LoL. If you're wanting to get into the 10s you can forget about "comfortable cruiser." Do you have any idea what it takes to get into the 10s with a 7??

Last time I checked there isn't any such thing as comfortable in ANY car that runs 10's. I think the word you're looking for is tolerable...that's being a bit more honest .

He means the A/c wiring in the wiring harness. Nearly ALL of the cars came with the A/C celectrical connectors, but not the power steerign electrical connectors.

In canada, every model, the base, GX, GXL, and TII all has the A/C wiring, but the GT did not. I love those cars! Coolest model available if you ask me.
