Whats your question? Thats not an extraordinary price or anything. It is still DOS based and not windows, which I don't like at all. I'm going with a Microtech LT8 which is windows based, but uses stock sensors for the most part. But its still cheaper than the E6X or E6K are. Try looking around the different ECU sections and ask around there if you have any questions.

Ya I guess so, but why would it crash? I've had a few problems with windows, but thats just because I have cable and am always connected, plus no firewall. But I can just reformat my HD and keep everything. Most people I know of use fairly simple laptops and many aren't even online with them so should be no worries. Its really a preference thing, if you like DOS then no problemo.

I've had windows XP running for about 2 months straight now...that means i haven't even turned it off or restarted it yet. And it's more user friendly than DOS. Which is better for street tuning with mild track use? The LT8 or E6k? or better question...which one is used more and will be easier to find a tuner for?

Linux Shell server 4years and counting
windows Xp 2months?

ya I'm a geek but that's what I get payed for.

for me the lt8 looks better but if I had the money the e6K I would get.

yes windows is easier but X86 is better :P

As far as I am concerned the OS system has nothing to do with the tunning software. So claiming that DOS or Win is easier, is ireelevant when tunning the vehicle (unless the OS decide to crap on you).

It comes down to what your preffer, tuner availability, support, etc!
