i don't know how those guys got did it, but you could pull the fuse for pop headlights and then use the manually lower the headlight halfway using the **** on the motor under the car

nah dont turn the ****. youll F* it up. cuz you have to adjust each headlite individually, and you wont get it even. all u have to do, is pull the fuse for ur headlite retractors, located in the narrow fuse box on the driverside strut tower, next to the battery. then, turn on ur headlights. then, tap the fuse on the socket, so it breifly makes a connection, and the headlites will pop up for however long u hold the fuse on. when u get it to the height you like, and where u have the right amount of lite on the ground, leave the fuse out. it looks cool, and you can always go back to ur normal operation if u feel like it; just pop the fuse back in.

Thumbs up

I prefer taking the fuse out and manually adjusting it. I measure height from the tip, to the knuckle of my index finger. If you ever decide to go back to normal, just stick the fuse back in and they'll return to open or closed position on their own.

AE by the looks of ur car, thats about the same level as my headlights. i guess basically, adjust them so the tops of the headlights, the cover part of them, are parallel to the ground. so its flat. not tilted back, and not titlted foward, but leveled off.

i also took out my FTP lenses too, so i got cool 'air intakes' lol, my car looks mean at night. ive got clear lenses on my turnsignals, and a set of piaa amber colored fog lights. it looks like a lot of lights on the front of my car. man, rx7s are the ****...i just cant get over it. heheh

Yeah - there's some box with a dial on it you wire into the headlight motor wires. It controls the angle.

Personally, I'd rather convert to this kit:

check out supergoats web site

Down the forum list a little ways is a thread by supergoat, follow the link to his web site and on the how to list look for sleepy eye look. It tells you how to wire in a switch to contorl the extension of you lights.

well im not sure about you guys but i found my solution! if you just play with the headlight pop up switch you can stop them right in the middle of going up! they wont stay there while the lights are on but they wouldnt give off much light like that anyways so no big deal.

i already tried having my headlites down and just shining thru the FTP lenses...i got pulled over within 500 feet of leaving the driveway. dont try it. i got a goddam ticket for 'not havin my headlights on'.

a good rule of thumb is; crouch so ur at eye level w/ the filament in the headlight, adjust the headlights so that the filament just pops up to above the front bumper. that way, ur gettin the brightest part of the beam out on the road instead of lighting up the backside of ur bumper. the ambient light will flood out the bottom and thru ur FTP lenses sorta like fog lights. it looks nice.

Don't know if you found it out yet, but the headlight kit is made by Knight Sports... I think it's about $800 in Japan, but i'm not sure.

I used to like them half up, but then i found shining thro the FTP lenses gave it a better look.

I just put a switch beside the shifter to make it easier to adjust the lights. Which allows me to position them while in the car, driving etc.

Here is where i got the info from :
http://rx-7.freehosting.net/lights.htm

NOTE: you don't need to use a relay like he says. Dunno why he used one.
