I'll agree somewhat... untily you started to come off as the "typical" FnF street boy racer. Asking for "slips" (what in the HELL is the fascination with these little pieces of paper!!!!)

I still say I personally would not feel comftorable driving a 350+ HP car for a while. I'm saying this with the text in my sig saying Im doing a TII swap. Yep.. sure am. My goal is 300 HP too. Won't get like that quickly though. By the time I can afford this swap (will stay at stock power for a while) I will have time to learn more about driving, do some autocrossing first to learn the limits of my car, maybe do some amateur SCCA later on. But I sure as hell wouldn't try to make my car 400 HP the SECOND week after owning it. I'm not your daddy, not going to tell you what to do. Just kinda tired of seeing A) news stories about teens/young adults dying in car crashes from stupidity... and B) people popping engines giving the rotary EVEN MORE of a bad rep due to.... guess what.... stupidity.

Totally agree with that. Make sure you don't screw it up, learn to drive it first, then start having fun with it. It does take a while to get used to the power of a modded TII if you've never driven one before.

I started learning to drive on my dads 240sx. Then bought my own 1990 NA, blew the motor, got a new motor with streetport and exhaust and some other mods. Drove that for quite some time and got used to that car. Then bought my TII, and after 3-4 months of owning it I am still not used to the kind of power and acceleration it has. It takes time to get used to controling it properly and not screwing up big time and ditching it or into a pole or something.

I have never had very good luck pushing the stock carbon seal over 15psi.  So even if you're running a compressor upgrade of hybrid, you're most likely still using the carbon seal.

Just don't crash and die, that would break my ******* heart.

Just ride it very lightly. And listen to what some of these guys have to say about the FMIC.I hope you know what an FMIC is? And how much work it is to do? Without that, you will have a blown engine, and about 800 bucks down the drain(that is how much my seal kit would cost, don't give me any **** about how much a TII kit is, cause I don't give a flying ****).

THANKS!
Justin

I will just say this I am 18 and two years ago I was driving around my dad's 300+ HP Talon. You can have all the fun you want until something bad happens, and this event most likely will change your opinion on things drastically. It was my privilege to drive my dad's car, and what did I do, I went and smoked some supercharged truck and then got pulled over. Talk about loss of lisence. I would say just don't pull a me, and get busted even if you live in the sticks... because I do too. Also you sound like you have some knowledge of cars, I would turn the boost down for street use, and then throw in a FMIC. You'll thank yourself later, when you have your car, life and license... Just personal experience.. I can say I many times the better driver now that I had stupid **** happen. I save it for the track.
