gxl intercooler

hey im about to turbo my N/a this winter, and i was wondering...

what intercoolers will fit as a front mount? i heard a supra cooler?
any suggestions of in expensive intercoolers that some people have tried?

i was thinkin maybe dual tII coolers??

im only gonna push 7 to 10 lbs until i rebuild but then id like to move into the 15-20 range

also, is here any way to leave the actuators intact (5/6 ports) or is there just no room?

Take a measuring tape. Measure the distance from the bumper skin to the support, then from side to side. That's you maximum intercooler size you can fit without cutting. Now start shopping for intercoolers based on that size. Cheap intercoolers are for sale on eBay based on size and they are a LOT better then any of the OEM intercoolers that people use.

You can keep the aux ports if you move the actuators off of the manifold and then use something like bicycle brake cable to connect them to the port levers.

A FMIC with both pipes on one side will be easier to plumb on the NA since the throttle body is the same side as the turbo.

If you are going the spacer route, you need to make the spacer. I would suggest a custom manifold instead. But if you can't do that, then a spacer works fine.
