this guys ad reeks of bs, from the "6 speed man" to the 10.2 1/4 mile (with a full int.).

It has good tires with 15 inch 7 1/2 pound rims
bs, in the pictures those are stock 14" rims and they weight like 14lbs. if memory serves me correctly.

I just sent the seller the following set of questions through the Ebay "ask the seller a question" link. I will post his reply.

----------------

Who made/modified the 6 speed transmission, where is it from and how old is it?

Stage II Flywheel?.. what company made/sells it?
Stage II Clutch?.. what company made/sells it?
and how old are they?

What company makes/sells the titanium driveshaft?
What do the titanium rotors on the drive shaft do? I have never heard of a drive shaft having rotors on them.

The wheels on the car in the photo look just like the stock 14" (phone dial) wheels that weigh 13lbs. What special model had them that look like that in a larger size and nearly half the weight?

How large of a NOS shot did you have on the car for it to run the 10.2 in the 1/4 mile? What was the MPH on that 10.2 run?

Thanks.
--------------------------------

If he even answers the email it should give us hours of enjoyment.

I especially like how he makes it seem like the car just needs minor work to get it running again. Remember, "needs an apex seal" means it needs a new engine.

Take a look at the steering wheel - all the wrapping has been pulled off and it's just the metal frame. Wow.

Really, it's an OK car for $1200, BS or no. Looks like it needs some TLC, but if it really has that mileage and starts and runs well, that would be a decent car.

I like how he has various photos of the car, but not one of the engine bay... I wonder what's missing.
