i got a 86 gxl that is bone stock
what are the ups/downs of guttin the cats?
will it make it alot louder
i like noise

Maybe he wants to make sure that it will pass a visual inspection, at least.

Just make sure you have enough back-pressure to open you 6th ports...

my 6th ports dont open
if you can tell when you watch and pull the throttle body and rev it up high and they dont move

if i took off the air pump when i gutted the cats would it hurt the driveability any??

I think most people on this forum don't have an air pump, doesnt bother my drivability
