How do I know if my injectors are working?

I am just curious if there is a way to test them. I know there has been a injector data thread about which ones are which https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=117095
but im curious as to checking them to see if they are working correctly.

What do you mean by working correctly ?

If you mean, is the spray pattern correct ? and stuff like that, you have to take them out and bring them to a pro like marren or rc engineering or anybody else that has the equipment to analyze patterns. If you have doubts, just take them out and for $100 you can have all 4 of them checked and professionally cleaned (they ll even through in new grommets and o-rings, how nice).

If you just mean, are they clicking ?
Well, you can check the primaries by listening to them clicking (you can use a long screwdriver to conduct sound better).
For the secondaries, it's more complicated since they only come out at 3,800 and under load, so you'll have to simulate load on engine to hear them click. But I would assume if you don't hit a wall at 3,800 when you drive under load, they must be working.

If you mean,
are they injecting enough fuel ?
You have to take intake out and do a volume check

Well I am hitting a wall at 3800 so thats why im curious if they are working period. Ive been having this damn problem forever now and I switched out the primaries with the secondaries yesterday and the car starts but it acts like its only on one injector so I think one is bad. Now im just trying to figure out which one injector is bad and how I would go about doing that.

cheap vs easy.

switch one primary with one secondary, if it works well up till 3800, it was the primary you switched, if it still sucks at idle, it's the primary you didn't switch.

Kinda alot of work, but cheaper then getting them tested.
