Guess that wire! (Searched and no luck!)

Could not figure out what this wire is:

The connector is hanging loose, somewhere under the oil pressure sender. I looked around for a bit but didin't find a place to plug it back in.

It plugs into the condensor for the oil pressure guage sending unit. It's a little black "box" something like 1 square centimeter by like 5mm thick. There is a metal tab for it to ground down to the M8 bolt that holds the flywheel inspection plate down. The pigtail is only like 1 1/2" long with the female coulnterpart of the plug you are referring to.

Good Luck!

Could this wire cause my oil pressure gauge not to work?

It's been dead forever.

I'll try and find the place to plug it back into once it's daylight tomorow.

Assuming its what sixgears said, then it would make the gauge not work.

I've searched with my fingers and can't find a place to plug it into

My digital camera wont fit in for a better look!

Can't find any mention of such wire on the Haynes manual. Can't find it on the FSM, either

Does anyone by any chance have pictures of where this thing should be plugged into?
