Guess my 1/4 Time

well i am SUPPOSED to be going to the track this saturday, no guarantees, but if i do what do you guys think ill run??

im a good driver, i know how to launch and shift, my car weighs 2440lbs and i weigh 210, so thats 2650lbs, 5.12 gears, intake, modded TB 10mm wires, what is your guesstimate for my time, i will be shifting at 6.5k because it stumbles if i go above 6.2k, and 6.5 is ok. i will start it off at 15.5

Well I would guess only a 15.5 .. U havnt said what uve done to the car since your 15.5 run and why dont u fix it so u can rev to your max. I would think working right u can run mid 14s guestimate. High 13s with more mods but thats just me.

If you are a good driver and know how to launch right I say 15.2. However if you actually can't launch for **** then I'll say 15.8. (ducking, running)

no no von, my guess was a 15.5, i havent run the car before

i cant figure out what the redline hesitation is in my car, ive tried different TPS', changing the way my AFM sits, i took apart the intake manifold and cleaned it all out, i swapped around injectors to make sure it wasnt the 2ndary injectors not working right, the only thing i didnt check was to see if the diffusers were in the intake manifold, but if it still does that when i get the ported vdi manifold from adam im gonna be pissed lol

lol peejay, i can launch good, ive spent countless hours practicing launching, everytime i get a race in the street i will try a different launch, i find my best RPM is between 2800-3000, and if i warm up my tires a bit, anywhere from 2500-3000 is fine, i still have the stock 185/70/14's and a really shitty suspension, that i didnt put on it, but ill say a 15.5 is a good place but we'll see lol

how much pressure do you run in the back tires? i used to run 18-20psi with 185/70s and that hooks hard.

Impossible to guess. Does it stumble all the way to redline after 6200? Id get that fixed before you run it. I blew my engine running my car before it ran perfect.

Don't run 25 in the front, run like 45 or 50... cut down rolling resistance. It does make a difference at the top end.
