Its not hard. I had extremely rudimentary tools to work with too. I just cut a rectangle, drilled some holes for mounting, and drew out where my gauges would go. Then I took a hole saw, a bit you can get at lowes, and using my drill cut three holes for gauges and two for switches. Then just screw everything together and you're done.

i have one similar to this one in my car, looks pretty good on top of the radio. i just need to cut a small piece of abs plastic to go behind it since it leaves some see through parts. i can take a pic if youd like.

These should fit, or be pretty close.

I bought one of these ages ago for my old 1991 N/A. It required some minor sanding to fit in the DIN slot below the radio (single DIN aftermarket, of course).

It's nothing fancy, just simple textured ABS plastic.

I have this one. It sucks. It's flimsy, and you can see through the gaps really easily. No one wants to see 20 year old yellowing plastic and stereo wiring...

This is what I have in my car. I've been contemplating doing another small run of them.
