GTUS turbo

Has anyone swaped a jspec into a gtus? I could be wrong but it should have everything but the harness and ECM?

You will need the harness and the ECU. The driver side harness is the same. You will need to use your GTU flywheel and clutch assy if you are keeping your tranny.

The tranny is a regular n/a tranny, except is has the same 5th gear ratio as the TII tranny. Also, the GTUs diff still uses the 7" ring gear of the n/a, just has a 4.3 ratio, and a LSD. The TII's had an 8" ring gear.

I know that the N/A trannys are different. The part numbers for the flywheels for turbos and N/As are different also.

The only reason I ask is that i just bought a gtus to build into a soloI car, but i turned down another gtus with a blown motor for $900, and it would be a cool sleeper with a jspec and no badges on the car, and a reg hood..
