Coolant Leaks

HI, I have just started to get problems with the cooling system, one of the hoses burst, and I have replaced them all but still getting problems. Every morning I see a small puddle of coolant on the road below the radiator, after the car starts to warm up. I have taken off the filler cap above the thermostat it is always virtually empty, I know the radiator is full because when I take off the radiator pressurised cap which also leads to the overflow reservoir, Coolant spews out. I have recently replaced the non-pressurised filler cap with a pressurised one, Mainly because they are easier to get hold of and a lot cheaper. I could not see any reasons as to why a pressurised cap could not be used, Would changing this cap be the cause of my problems ???
