Yeah, a GTUs model with a turbo would be.... a turbo model. So perfect for a turbo car transplant

so with a gtus you can just drop a turbo ...since its basically the t2 without the turbo right? so is it best to do a t2 convertion on a gtus?

No, you still need a stronger drivetrain etc.

Dezerte: No it's not, the vert's heavier

I just meant that if you're going for a turbo model, the gtus with a turbo conversion (I'm including the drive train cause that's part of the conversion) would be pretty much the same car.

GTUs- no sunroof, some w/out AC and radio, has TII wheels, nice TII seats, non power windows, no rear wipers, only came in black/red/and white, engine bay is more basic..and last but not the least; it takes off niceeeeeee..

There were no automatic GTUs models, however the 89-90 GTU model did have the option for an auto tranny.
