Yo,
Never!! The evil snail will never rule me! *chuckle*
Hey, you going to Dr. Ho's Dorifto Day tomorrow? I just put on some craptacular tires for it!
I haven't ditched it, but I was getting a high speed miss about 15m after I installed it. I couldn't figure it out, I thought it was the in-tank fuel filter because it happened after a long sweeping right had turn at almost WOT.
It turns out my AFM went bad. Now, I don't know if it's because I mounted it on it's side and facing downward, or if by handling it so much test fitting the CAI knocked something out of whack, but it took a dump on me. We replaced it with Dana's, and put on his Apexi intake for dyno purposes.
When I get a replacement AFM I will mount it pointing down towards the CAI, but I won't turn it on it's side.
If it goes bad again, then I know the stock AFM doesn't like pointing downwards.
And...you had to ask. *grin*

I LOVED when I put my S-AFC in my N/A... totally changed the midrange. I probably gained 5 hp up top, but probably 15 at 4000!
Really woke it up.

Only depressiing part about N/A's is all the money you dump in, and the little results that come from it. Dump all that money into a turbo and what do you get? Ahh well, my GTUs is still staying N/a, for now until it pisses me off

my 85 GSL w/ 148k miles on original engine just pulled 7.8, 7.7, and 7.9 at 171RPM on a mazda compression tester
those sorta numbers are good, but that was at 171RPM, if I was cranking at 250RPM they would've been through the roof.
P.S. that was front rotor only cause the tester fitting wouldnt fit between the steering knuckle and the rear rotor
