GTU's

Ok here is the deal i have an 89' GTUs some one pulled out in front of me and i wrecked it . I now have the opportunity to buy another one with a blown engine and everything to do the TII engine swap including the TII engine, but its blown also so he says. What should i offer the guys for all of this?

if you think you can rebuild eather motor than id give em 900 for it if its in fair shape, 1000 in good shape, or 1200 if its in great shape

if the body and interior are in GREAT shape I'd pay no more than $1400 w/ a blown engine. Depending on how much you get from insurance you may have enough left over to afford the rebuild...you did have converage right?

So you all think that 1400 is a good price for 2 s5 engines that are blown one n/a and one tII and the car itself. My thoughts are to take the still runing engine out of the wrecked car and just drop it in the new one and be done with it? how hard will this be can i do it in a weekend?
