GT / GTX / GTR / GT Limited

I'm having trouble find information on the differences between these models.
I've search the forum and it appears this was dicussed before but no real answer (at least no in english)https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...&highlight=gtx

Is there any real difference in performance or is it all just cosmetic differences?

to my knowledge so far.... in japan... the GT-R was the series 4 TII(86 or 87-88) and the GT-X was the series 5 TII(89-92) i could be wrong tho...as for the other models...i have no clue.
