Grounding question.

I give up on the picture... name that wire, wire again?

I am on a server, and can upload images most other places, but not here.

So I'll just ask my main question...

Is there a ground to the slave cylinder?

That is basically the only thing I need to know to complete a one man clutch job.

Please help, I've got to transport from one job to the other tomorrow and can't use the carpool.

It's not a ground per se, but it is grounded...

There is a capacitor on the wire that "absorbs" electrical noise from the ignition system so that your oil pressure indicating system doesn't have to put up with it...

It can be grounded anywhere, for some reason Mazda chose the slave cylinder site...

DO NOT ground the wire without the capacitor...

The slave cyl grounds through the tranny, however the condensor for the oil pressure sender is often mounted to one of the slave cyl bolts.

It must be hooked up.
