Angry Grounding gone wrong...

I have started to attempt the regrounding but am running into lots of problems. I have grounded the Leading Coil and attempted to ground the Trailing Coil. When the Trailing Coil was grounded it threw the timing off really bad. So I removed the grounding I did and simply cleaned the grounds on the Trailing Coil really well. I polished it to bare metal around the grounds and rebolted everything. The car still runs like crap but the timing sounds better.

This is seriously ticking me off because I have been following the grounding procedures in the Archive.

The car will not rev over 6,500rpms now and while under load I gain rpm's VERY slowly and won't go over 5,000rpms. The idle sucks even worse than it did before I started.

I'm about to go check the TPS and see if it has been thrown off or something.

Anyone have any suggestions?!

Sounds much like the trail coil is the only one werking.

I just got back from driving around and I'm kinda starting to think the same thing.

I starting looking around by it and it turns out the dick head who had been helping me out unplugged the Leading Coil and didn't tell me. He didn't even mention it when I started running around and got PISSED. He took off not too much longer. Idiot. I was running around everywhere trying to figure out what was wrong. IDIOT.

Thanks very much HAILERS. Your help is much appreciated. My buddys is not.

Finally... Back to my project.

Thanks.

Where is this grounding archive?
What are you exactly doing to ground the coils???
The coils ground through the aluminum bodies, so you shouldn't be splicing into any wires???

It's at the very top in the archive as a sticky. I'm following the directions to grounding the coils.

I wasn't splicing any wires... My buddy is just an idiot.
