interior lights questions.....
i installed some aftermarket gauges in the glove box so i used the power from the glove box light to power the lights in the gauges neways so my car currently has no motor and no tranny so the wiring harness is hanging down i connected the battery so i could start installing the gauges and know that the lights are working properly well i turned on the light and everything worked but within 5 seconds it all went out i went over the gauges and i didnt criss cross anything so do you think something could of happned with the harness and blown a fuse??? havent had a chance to go look outside right now cause its dark and/or have you ever turned on the lights and out of old age =) the fuse just blows on you????

the glove box light is powered from the red/black parking light wire at the light switch.
if you added a couple more lights, then it could blow the fuse or switch

Fuses don't blow of "old age", lol...
If the lights worked for 5 seconds, most likely you overloaded the circuit, because a direct short would have blown it in less than a second...
Remove the two new gauge bulbs, replace the fuse, make sure everything is working right again (to make sure it's not wiring related), then plug the bulbs back into the circuit one at a time. If having only one bulb working does nothing, but having both working then blows the fuse again, you've overloaded the circuit.
If this is the case, find another source of lighting power for the gauges (at least one of them), like the cig lighter wiring...
