ground wire kits?

im just wondering if any one out there has used one of those JDM ground wire kits that connect to the batterys and if they actually work? im not looking for the gains in HP but just wondering if does make your connections stronger enough to do how much they say they do... just wondering if anyone can tell me if theyre really worth it or not thanks

Don't waste your money! Just go and clean up all existing grounds. Polish surfaces on the frame or body where ground wires attach to make sure there is good contact. Clean the battery to and posts. You shouldn't have to add grounds if you do this, or buy a kit. If wires are worn or frayed, just get some 8-10 guage wire and some fittings and replace them.

Call Petitt Racing. They give those kits out for free.

Useless waste of money and a great way to clutter up the engine bay.

ok, thanks guys... i read a section earlier about this guy who said he bought one and it increased the smoothness of his idle, and this that and the other, no more backfiring, and all that stuff... so just wanted to see out of curiousity if they were really worth it or not

I install my HKS one I got for xmas. Helped the idle and the power changes I had in the car. Change in pitch of fuel pump when, brakes were applied, headlights on, blinker being used. I noticed a few small differences, wouldn't say it wasn't worth it, but then again I didn't buy it.
