ground

I'll have to throw the bullshit flag in on that one. The ground from the firewall next to the w/w motor will cause this problem if it is not connected or if it it fried. Mine got hot and fried and it was not getting enouph juice to the starter, i thought the starter was bad until i found that burnt wire. I replaced with 10g and it started right up and solved alot of other problems also. Put some of that wire mesh casing around it to protect it from turbo or exh man heat.

If that wire is not letting the car start, then you have bigger problems, as that is a back up ground for the engine, and you have lost your main ground.
