Greddy V-spec installation without power steering elimination
So while attempting to install the Greddy V-spec FMIC I realized that I wouldn't be able to use my stock power steering pump as it is in the way. Luckily I saved the power steering pump that came on my j-spec motor a couple of years ago. The j-spec power steering pump sits where the A-spec A/C was and vise versa.
Now the only problem is that in lines are different on the other p/s pump and I can't find anywhere that sells them?
I've included some pics, if you have these lines pm me. I'll buy them off you.
I also noticed that this p/s unit doesn't have any wires attached to it. I can only assume that this p/s doesn't adjust w/speed. Is this a correct assumption? Will not having the wires attached cause any sort of error? resistors needed?

you can fit the greddy kit and still keep AC/PS. you just need to form the piping in a more oval shape to squeeze between the PS and strut tower. it's been done.

I know that many others have adapted the kit to work with the powersteering, but I really would like to use the powersteering that came with the engine originally, I just need to find somewhere that sells the p/s lines I need.

Update: Recap: I'm trying to install the Greddy V-spec kit with out narrowing/cutting/bending any of the pipes. I wanted to use a power steering pump and bracket that comes on the J-spec engines, it mounts the Power steering pump about a foot lower than on all of our American rx7 engines.
What initially prevented me from doing this was
1. The J-spec power steering pump used different hose connections.
2. The American power steering pump is speed sensitive which I didn't want to give up.
Solution
I modified that J-spec power steering bracket to fit the American power steering pump.
This is what need to be done:
1. Find a power steering bracket from a J-spec 13B, mine came off of an 87'. I know there are many people who use their original power steering when then do a j-spec swap, or eliminate the power steering all together. I shouldn't be that hard to find.
2. Remove your American power steering bracket and pump.
3. Remove the pulley from the power steering pump.
4. Remove the bolts that secures the pump to the the bracket.
5. Remove the pump from the bracket.
6. Modify the J-spec bracket by cutting off the section outlined in red on the attached picture. ( I used a portable grinder with a 6" diameter blade, took about 10 minutes tops to cut.)
7. Mount the American power steering pump onto the modified j-spec bracket using the three bolts arranged in a triangular pattern under the pulley.
8. Reinstall the pulley onto the pump.
9. Remount in the car, since the American power steering pump is larger then the J-spec pump, clearance between the power steering bracket and one of the mounting studs for the power steering is tight. I was able to get it to clear the stud with a little bit of wiggling and positioning. To make it mount easier, you could just remove the stud and use a bolt in its place.
10. buy a 34" circumference V-belt from autozone for 8.99. The 35" is easier to put on, but you have to tighten the tensioner almost all the way to it's limit to get enough belt tension.
In addition to freeing up space for any intercooler piping kit for the FC, this also lowers the center of gravity for the vehicle ever so slightly.
Attached are some pics of the intercooler installed after the power steering relocation.
