greddy twin turbo advice!

Hey guys! I found a greddy twin turbo with td05-16g turbo'd. It says the kits for 1987-91 rx7's, the reserve on the auction is pretty low so I think I could get if for cheap, would this be worth buying? And how hard is it to setup on the car? Other than all the custom fabbing

I saw that too. It's missing the WG which is gonna cost $$$. Unless you weld yourself, making the intercooler piping setup for that kit is gonna also cost $$$. Originally each turbo has a pipe which attaches to a dual inlet fmic. Decent kit for the money I guess but certainly far from "ready to bolt up." Also I think most of the others I've seen w/ this use the 18g turbos.

It'll definetly fit, this style manifold was actually quite popular in Japan and Ive seen numerous pics of it mounted. I think that whoever buys this kit will need to decide whether to do the dual inlet intercooler piping or a ypipe into a single ic inlet. I dont know how much data is out on the pros/cons of each bit Ive seen it done both ways.

Just curious, does anyone know of what type of numbers something like that kit would put down? Those turbos look very tiny. Maybe its the picture.?

those turbos are small only 16g's that kit couldnt be good for much more than low 400's @ the crank. Now here is a pic of a Complete kit using 18g's which should definetly be good for a lot more than the twin 16g's. This kit includes EVERYTHING including the 18g's AND an upgraded wastegate for 2k. An interesting thing about these twin td kits is that I've seen the manifolds in them marketed BOTH as RE amemiya and/or FEED (and labeled in catalogs and auctions differently as such but they are exactly the same). My hunch is the same welder made a jig and sold it to feed since RE is aligned with greddy which uses mitsubishi turbos and FEED has been associated with HKS which uses garrett turbos.
