Greddy TD06+RTEK1.7=good?

Is this a working setup and if it is, how much boost can the RTEK1.7 support on the greddy TD06-20g?
I do have the rtek 1.7 installed aswell as the walbro, 720cc secondaries, 3" from and to the turbo and a SAFC2 for fine tuning.

The turbo kit is coming in place this weekend bus i don't know my maximum "safe" boost level!

It's NOT recommended.
The TD06 can easily hit 400hp.
Do the math - 550 + 720's don't even come close to supporting that kinda power levels.
The airflow potential on the TD06 will easily MAX out the stock AFM.

plus the safc2 is for "fine tuning" the stock turbo, you are going to need alot of tuning and bigger injectors like RETed said. With a turbo like that a standalone is in your future.

you may be able to get away with it with lower boost levels, but from what ive asked around the forums, td06's dont reach their maximimum effinciency at lower boost levels (more around 15psi and up) an safc doesnt have all the fine adjustment points as a full standalone would and youd be able to setup the turbo to create more power with a standalone.

Why are you going with the TD06 if you only want 12psi?

i only want 12 psi for NOW....during the winter i will do a half bridge...dowell-pinns, microtec and so on. NOW i want lets say 280 reliable BHP for the summer!!.
Now i have Hurlay race apex and FD3S springs, solid corner seals, walbro, RTEK1.7, SAFC2, EBC, 3" from and to the turbo, FMIC.

And i bought my TD06 kit for 675USD with a manifold and a wastgate!

Thats stupid, why not wait until then to do all the modifications and run the stock turbo at 14psi? Since you're doing a rebuild, FMIC, and standalone then?

You'll need more fuel...the Rtek 1.7 seems to work well with bolt ons, the necessary 720 secondaries and 12-14 psi from the stock turbo.

You can still GET the Rtek 1.7 and larger injectors that you can adjust with an AFC...you'll still have the benefits of timing control, secondary staging and flood defeat.

However, you might as well wait for the Rtek 2.0 which will have datalogging and selectable injector combo base "maps."

i dont have a stock turbo and now i deside that i will dynotune it and check when the fuel isn't enough....
the 720cc/550cc combo can support 280hp of fuel...shouldn't matter on witch turbo?am i right?
280hp is 280hp no mather what?
that means that the rtek1.7 could support 280hp on my TD06 (with some safc tuning)?

man i feel dizzy!

Thanks for your respons!!! It means alot!
