I can give you another piece of advise. Buy some better couplers. The ones from atpturbo.com are tripple stiched and much much better.

However, do a search, this has been covered in depth.

closer to the turbo my friend to save the turbo... thats the bovs purpose.. so before the IC.. but you could do like me and be a ttrue ricer and run on the front side of the turbo and one infont of the tb..... .... they say the one closest to the TB gives you better responce or soemthing like that....chime in if im wrong guys

the couplers i thought looked pretty good except the cheesy ones that go right on the intercooler and the one that goes right on the turbo....i have samco couplers on my custom setup now and the only difference i see is the greddy couplers have cloth on the outside.. i have my bov on the tb side now and it seems to be fine anyone else have any opinions?

i have mine on the tb side..

From what ive read, supposedly tb side is for performance (less lag after release), turbo side is for reliability (turbo sees quicker pressure release).

all greddy kits have bad couplers.

The cloth will get dirty and black in no time. Look at how thick they are. Now, you see two layers of stiching? Well, the ATP ones have three layers and are all silicone. No cheap cloth layer. Add the T-bolt clamps to the ATP couplers and you have great realiability. Unlike the cheap clamps greddy sends. THey warp, and stech, and are flimsy.

If you run into leaks, change them out!

here it is simplified , if you mount it on the Turbo side you save your turbo, if you mount it TB side you get better performance,

I have mine on the turbo side. I have heard of people running two blow off valves just to get rid of the "turkey gooble" sound effect the blow off valve makes after throttle release. I have this sound effect and really only get it when I am slightly boosting(about 3-4 psi), when at WOT and full boost(14psi) it sounds normal.

I kinda like the crazy sound effect, I had my friends little girl comment on how it sounds like Scooby Doo snikering.

The BOV should be mounted as close to the throttle body as you can mount it. This prevents the turbo from having to re-pressurize the whole intercooler and piping after it vents. Sometimes, however, this is not possible due to the location of the pipe. I think you would have a hard time mounting a large BOV near the throttle body with the Greddy kit.

Yes I had that probl;em. Work the pipes a bit, and add a "L" bracket from the IC pipe to the little piece on the Oil Filler neck. I was able to pull it away by about a Center meter.
