Greddy Electric boost gauge

Qucik question. I'm in the process of installing the gauge. The instructions say to tee off the fuel pressure regulator hose. I was told by reliable source that if the pressure to that line is lost or reduced that the motor will run lean.

1. Is it OK to tee off the fuel pressure regulator

2. Do I need to have another vacuum source

3. Where would be the best location to attach the vacuum/boost hose, nearest the manifold without having to drill holes?

thanks for the help

I can get to it finebut want to know if my info is correct
If I don't need 2 sources for (I assume vaccum/pressure)
I'll only use 1 but want it closest to the intake as possible

thanks
