Greddy discontinued 87 kit, will 89 work?

Greddy discontinued 87 kit, will 89 work?
Hey guys,
I have been shopping around for a FMIC kit, and stumbled onto GReddys 3 Row. Pretty much what i need. The only problem, though, is that its discontinued for my car, an 87 TII. They do have it for an 89 TII. What i am wondering (besides core size of this intercooler) is what were the differences between the cars, and whats the possible differences between the kits? If its nothing serious, i will work around it.

The only diffrence that i know about is the 3 row I\C piping is bent for the greddy TD06-SH upgrade turbo kit!
There web sight has three kits, but only one for the stock turbo and is the two row core, your going to cut the **** out of your car anyway to fit the core! so just make sure the piping is bent for the right turbo.
