Great short shifter for 1st and 2nd gens!!!

I just wanted to say that I drove my friend's FC last night that had a short shifter recently installed in it, and the difference btwn stock and the short shifter was great! I asked where he got the short shifter from and he said he got it from www.rx7s.com for less than $195 shipped to his door, and that it will fit on any 1st. and 2nd. gen. Just thought I'd share the experience with you guys. I went on www.rx7s.com and it's on the page as soon as the site opens, just giving you guys the heads up, ,thanks for letting me share.

Does it come with bushings? Seems a bit pricey compared to the other places that have short shifters...

I still have no idea which one mine is, last owner put it on. All I have to say is that the shifter is WAY shorter than stock, the throws are insanely shorter and stiffer (I know because I drove my friends TII with stock shifter). Recently when I was replacing my carpet and took it out I looked at it, the length is significantly shorter and then the length between the bottom and the ball is very very short too, making the throws extremely short like they are. No idea which one it is, took a while to get used to but it's ok now, doesn't bother me. At first it was so short I'd get ahead of myself shifting, too much mad quick shifting

Is that pic of you on AOL the same guy in that group pic on the T &R website? Would that make you T or R?

All kidding aside, that price is way too high. Higgi offers a great shortshifter for 130.00. Go to Mazdatrix and buy the bushings for about 20 and you have the cats *** of short shifters for 150.00
