got some paintin done on the vert

while i had everything out i did some painting on it, the engine bay will be done the middle of this week with a gloss metalic black im anxious to get her built and back on the road!

my shocks and struts havent come in yet, and ill be ordering slotted rotors as well as new bushings and **** for the weels so it wont stay that ugly heh

wondering why you just didn't use a rubberized undercoating, to prevent rust and deaden sound, instead of paint, which does neither.

whats it called? is it a spray on or brush on coating? looks really nice and I'd like to do it to my car while everything is out and before ohio winter sets in!

well im not exactly sure, i did it at my old workplace which is a body shop and its what they buy for the cars they repair... ill find the name out for ya later this week when i go back to paint the engine bay

what is that cross member at the rear of where the engine would sit? is this aftermarket or is this something only verts had? and can it be bolted to a non vert?

It's a vert only cross member. It can be bolted to a non-vert. Weighs less than 15lbs.

Edit: Works with RB headers. Pacesetter Headers don't fit with the cross member.

He's also missing the convertible transmission tunnel crossmember that cuts down on cowl shake. The 2nd subframe/brace is to stiffen the chassic for the convertible.

oh i have it its just off the car for now while i work on it

thanks for the compliments and about the red lol its gonna keep the red and black color scheme... i think it will look just fine
