after i replaced the o rings on the injectors i started it up and it would go to 3000 and then die.

after I fixed that and finally got it to start it idled really low and is sluggish when hitting the gas.

I then shut it off after a couple of min's and checked everything. when I tried to start it again it didn't want to start.

what is it this time??

 

The battery needs a fresh charge or a jump.
Until your rebuild gets run in you will need higher starter RPMs to make enough compression.

 

do you think the battery will make the acceleration lag though?

it did get low from trying to start it but then I let it run for awhile after I got it started.

the throttle response is really slow.

everything was ok and it ran great before I replaced the injector o-rings.

 

Yea I think u should try charging the battery up. About it lagging...i really dunno. Are the injectors themselves working good (are they new or cleaned or did u just replace the o-rings)? Good luck and these problems can be a bitch to diagnose!

the injectors are not new but the car ran and responded fine before I did everything
