This pressure profile should give you some ideas:

Of course a chin spoiler or hood scoop will alter this.

The FTP(Flash To Pass)inlet is restricted by the headlights and a metal wall.

You would have to either design a box system which takes air and goes around the headlights and then cut holes into the engine bay or remove your headlight.

Some people use Fresh air ducts which are on the headlight cover. They only work when the headlight is down but is so far the best method.

Others will remove the windshield resevoir and make ducting go from there to the engine bay to scoop air.

In my Cold air box I made a shield which blocks engine heat and uses the stock snorkel to help pull air.

Here's an Idea... I've done it myself and it works wonderfully

1.) Remove windshield washer bottle.

2.) Remove Air silencer, located in same area (large black cylinder)

3.)Remove passengerside brake duct

4.) Enlarge existing hole left over from the washer bottle filler neck, from 1.5" to and nice and robust 3"

5.)Purchase a Jegs brake duct mount (you do not HAVE to do this(

6.Locate a ridged, metal reinforced hose about 3 feet long, shape one end (it's metal reinforced) to an oval, attach to or thru existing brake duct provision in bumper... Route other end into 3" hole you made, and mount directly at air filter.

These directions are pretty much how i did mine.
