got pulled over for being too low -_-
well. i was going to oreilys to get parts for my buddies s13 last night and this certain parts store has a really shitty entrance/exit. i made it in only by sliding up into the entrance but getting out was a completely different story. i started my typical angled approach. i came creeping out only to get completely out of the driveway(scraping from lip to muffler mind you lol) to a cop patiently waiting for me. he then proceeded to pull me into yet another lovely shitty driveway. so i took my sweet time getting into this one and needless to say he wasnt really happy because by the time i finally got into said driveway, there was about 10 cars in traffic. he then pulled me out of the car and asked me why i would drive something this low around all the time and was attempting to stick in fingers in between my tire and fender and his toe under my front bumper. after about 20 minutes of random nonsense babbling i politely asked him if he was going to give me a ticket for anything. he then procedeed to get more pissed and said no. once again as "politely"(kinda smart assed) i told him that he can leave first so he doesnt have to wait for me to creep my way out haha

hahaha I like that! if that happened here in Sydney, Australia the car would of been impounded and would of been issued with a defect notice so that you have to put the car to factory height before it is allowed back on the road and not to mention a fine of about $800 - $1000 AUD. **** the cops here!

Seriously, you are in the Military and you don't know how this works?
You are creating a public hazard by impairing traffic with your crawling in and out of driveways. **** that cop off and he can find any number of tickets to load you up with. He will laugh and tell the stories to his cop buddies. They will want to get in on the action. Make it entertaining enough for them and you won't be able to breathe without getting their attention. You may not like it, but he is the law.
I have one son who managed to attract Law Enforcement attention to his driving activity. Lots of it. He would complain that he was getting tickets for things that other drivers got away with. Ayup. I finally explained to him that the LEO's were in fact targeting him, because he had attracted their attention. I told him that I imagined that their was a picture of him and his car next to the time-clock with a note: "If you see this car or man, stop him; he is breaking a law."
Ask me how I know this, *personally*? Years ago on a car far, far away, I had a nice dent in the middle of my hood. It perfectly matched my forehead. I considered it a cheap learning experience...

And that's exactly why he pulled you over, for nothing.

I agree with jack...you're attracting their attention. Then being anything besides absolutely courteous, aka being a smartass, is asking for more trouble.
I have no sympathy.

i give myself more than adqueate time and space to get into places without being an inconvience to anyone. and yes, being military, in a military town, already makes us local targets as it is. but as previously stated, the only reason i INTENTIONALLY built up traffic beacuse this particuliar cop was being a *****...i beg them to.. give me a ticket...i dont care, i thought it was a funny situation though

+1 I'd kinda like to see this one play out in a reality tv show
When I was younger I made the mistake of giving lip to a bike cop. I gave him some "feedback" on how well I thought he was doing his job so he gave me a second ticket other than the one he pulled me over for. I know my name and car was passed around by how differently cops treated me and behaved around me. It took me some time to show that my outburst was the product of a bad day.

Your car would be awesome here in Philly with all its pot holes and ****. For some reason, philly cops just dont give two ***** anymore about the tuner scene unless you endanger the lives of others.
I swear, this one time a civic that was dropped came out of a multicar garage near the Community college and he had to angle the car so it wont scrape. As he was angling out slowly onto the street a cop car came up. Guy in civic waved his hand for the cop to pass, but the cop let him move first, so as he was coming out all you hear was his exhaust scraping, and then right when he was about to be out, the pavement caught his rear bumper and ripped the passenger side out but it was still hanging. The cop was laughing his *** off in his car as I stood there face palming my self.

You've obviously modified your car in a way that attracts attention. And cops are also allowed to pay attention, so you're automatically putting yourself on their 'naughty' list.
You got a talking to for a minor infraction. That's it. He witnessed your unwillingness and inability, to safely pull out of a driveway at reasonable speed. That is a hazard to public safety. I understand you're saying it didn't cause a problem at the time. But that's like saying it's fine to plow through a red light because you didn't hit any pedestrians.
Probably could've given you a ticket for that and it wouldn't have been worth your time or effort to fight it. So you'd just have to eat it. I'd say you got off easy. It's probably a good predictor of how you are going to be treated in the future in that area, too.

Holy **** it makes me laugh seeing people act so tough when talking about cops. I've been pulled over 6-7 times and got 4 tickets and only once the cop was being a dick was when I went through a yellow light at 2:00AM and he gave me a ticket for going through a red ($325). I had 3 other people in my car at the time so I had proof it was yellow.
I feel like it would be someone with a "slammed hella flush" car to act like this about police.

A 3" straight through exhaust = tickets and unwanted attention from cops and ricers
RB RevII exhaust = cops don't even see or hear me

Cops are not the law...,they cant pull you over on their whim. They are people, not gods. you wouldnt roll over and take it if they were some stranger on the street.

If everyone said you were illegal, then why didn't the cop give you a ticket? And I agree, if you have to hold up traffic to get to your destination then gtfo the road, but I understand the "humour" in it to **** a cop off.
I don't get on the bad side on law enforcement here. My truck has no flaps, tires stick out past the fenders, and rolls coal. Dont need any trouble.

There's a LOT of super lowered Hondas and 240s that they scrape over uneven roads and road plates. These f*ckin ******** PISSES me off as they drive into oncoming traffic and swerve without even looking to avoid them. One guy I had to slam on my brakes and chase that ****** down as he almost swiped me. If a car is too damn low and scrapes on road plates and have to take such a slow approach into a driveway, GTFOTR. This causes hazzard.
Damn kids.

I leave my car high enough to get in and out of lots. But being another nc member im shocked the cop actually even blue lighted you, its not uncommon to see cars nearly on the frame rails and the cops wont blink an eye. The only time I seen a cop blue light and have a car(well minitruck) is when he dumped the bag and started a spark show right in from the cop.
