Got my TII! and now some questions...
Hey guys. Finally got my 88 TII here . She doesnt run now becuse the previous owner was taking stuff apart all higgeldy-piggeldy and cut a bunch of wires and screwed up the MAF sensor . So my first question is; how interchangeable are the MAF's? More specifically, would the maf flapper door assembly from an 87 GXL work on my 88 TII? The guy ripped out the wires that are part of the plug that goes into the sensor, and i cant see a way of repairing it other than replacement.
Ah boy, this one's gonna take some work. I'll start taking pictures of her soon andputting them up.. theres much more to come from this.

an S4 N/A AFM will work but it will give you messed up readings. It's better to get a TII AFM. I've also heard of people re-wiring to fit the S5 AFM's in there... do a search on that one.

swapping to an s5 AFM would be a lot better if you don't plan on upgrading to a stand alone. There are tons for sale on here, you shouldn't have too much trouble finding an s4 or s5. If you need the plug with some leeway of wires for the s4 maf, I could cut it off of mine for a few bucks if you like, PM me.
