Anyone know how to take the snail part off the turbo?
Does it screw on/off or is it pressed on?

Another thing was how do you tell it's an S4 or S5?
OMP? What does the mech vs. elec look like?

Also is that 10/8 blade thing true?

So SDrotary, are you saying to have these in stock for 550$ plus shipping?

I would rebuild that turbo and make certain that everything is in spec, not just clean it, I think you would be best to spend the money and rebuild of have it rebuild! IMHO!

I opened up the housings and the turbo is fine. That small amount of rust wiped right off the housing and the white crap was like a calcium like deposit which came off easy too. Just a rag and degreaser wiped almost all of it off.

On the other hand this is actually a S5 engine. Not exactly what I wanted but I might as well deal with it.
