Haha, by myself it takes me about an hour or two to remove a longblock. With another person our record was 32 minutes.

hahha, I remember you, car is made up of like 10 other fc's!

Nice work man, I think the hardest thing about getting an engine back IN is aligning it with the tranny. But then again, I've never taken or put an engine back into a car.

Man I'd give anything for a garage! Then I'd be taking my engine out as well. Right now we have a foundation for a garage, but thats about it, kind of like a big car port. If theres anything I hate its the fact that we're right beside a busy street, and I'll be working on my FC and people walking by are staring or some punk kids will shout somethin... ******* annoing.

putting it in and hooking everything up, or having it running again? Running again was like 1 hour 14 minutes, putting it in and lining it up and getting everything hooked back up just waiting for fluids/fan shroud/etc is about 45 minutes

You need to get on that thing and ride it like Steve Buscemi in Armaggedon (sp?).

I have pulled dozens of rotary engines.
Never in 32 min. Thats insaine
Here is a piece of advice, when you put the
motor back in, make sure you have the engine
and tranny lined up pefectly. Take your time
and get a nice fit. My 3rd engine on reinstall
I didnt have the engine and tranny lined up
good and ate up the pilot bearing. P.I.T.A.
What a nightmaire. Just some advice you
probably already knew but take the extra
5 and make sure they line up good. Great job
so far man, keep it up

Pulling is one thing. Puttingit back in is another. Ask Loquin. I am not trying to discouage you, just giving you a bit of a hard time. I think your great pulling that motor at 15.

both can be an issue, i am no stranger to that....

be sure to check your rotor housings for any pits in the water jackets that look like someone took a drill to it, if there is any pits whatsoever i would probably look for a housing with none. after 4 engine R+Rs pitting(electrolyis), even minor, scares me...
