Got my engine, a few questions
My engine came in yesterday...I have a BAD fealing about this. The engine has NO compression(will be taking off the turbo in a few minutes to check the seals and make sure they're not stuck), and something else very odd, the turbo has a baffle between the wastegate and the turbine thats welded onto the housing with about a 1/4" of space on either side. Looks like its make to stop the flow of air coming out of the wastegate from getting to the downpipe. Anyone know what this is?(will take pictures a little later)

oh...sorry....a Japanese Spec motor....or a JDM motor...Japanese Domestic Market....
moving on...
That sux man.....no whooshes when you turn it by hand at all?....my engine had 30-30-60 when I got it..S4 n/a engine....stuck seal most likely...and when I turned it by hand before putting it in...it still had pretty good sounding compression. Put some MMO and ATF in there and let it sit while you put your engine in...might help, might not...after I started mine let it run and all that...compression now is 95-100 psi on both rotors.
