stock IC + water injection

Would you guys say that the stock IC+water injection is better than having a FMIC in terms of cooling and flow?

I don't want to have to put the starion FMIC in front...~~~ bleh

better yet, could I ditch the intercooler all together?

I could mix some alcohol with the water.

but that is not what you are talking about.
