Got my comp test

I finally got my compression test on my $150 car. I guess I waited so long, since September, to avoid the inevitable. I mean, ****, the car has 161K on it and the previous owner was not the most rotary inclined enthusiast. It smokes once in a while and floods about once a week.
So anyway, I went my mechanics shop in Monroe and he turned the key for me while I held the gauge. To my amazement, I hit over 115 PSI on the front rotor!!!!! WTH...........115????? So maybe the rear rotor is shot, but the rear hit right at 115 PSI!!!!!!!! Holy ****, my motor has great compression. How with 161K miles??? My only conclusion is that the motor has been replaced, what else could it be? I mean, no motor could have that good of compression after 161K, could it? I found no evidence that shows a replaced motor, and the previous owner never mentioned a new motor.
So, I sent a set of injectors to Marren Motor Sports to have them blueprinted and balanced. Hopefully that will cure my occassional flooding problem. Another issue with the car is that is goes through oil pretty fast, about a quart every 500 miles. I know oil in the chambers increases compression, but would it bring it up that high?
If I disabled my OMP and ran premix, would that will alleviate my smoking problem? I don't know if my oil injectors, OMP, oil seals, are all in good working condition, but I will run premix and I don't find it a hassle. Would I still burn oil if my oil seals were bad and the OMP system was disabled?

Any suggestions or comments??

I am going through the same amount or maybe more oil than you. I do have a small leak (thin 5"x5" wetness on the ground in the morning). My car smokes too. I've been wondering what it could be. Seems to me the OMP is sending too much oil in the engine, but I don't really know.

That's exaclty what I feels about the OMP. There is no spots on the garage floor when I move it, so it's going out the exhaust one way or another.

A friend of mine has an '88 SE with 240K miles on the original motor.

With gutted cats, he put 122hp to the wheels.

If your car had a lot of highway miles and the oil was changed at anything resembling a decent interval, those compression numbers are very realistic.

your still gonna burn oil. it has nothing to do with the OMP. it's the internal oil seals where oil goes for cooling the engine

If the oil seals are bad, would the car smoke almost everytime I get up in the RPM's?

Worn oil seals will not much smoke on the way up, but decelerating from 7K can be quite a show. Motor honey added at an oil change will buy you some time until you rebuild..

See, that's the thing. I run my car up to 7K many times a day and it might smoke once in 15 tries.

they are starting to go.... don't worry about it till it gets so bad you can make an impenetrable wall of smoke 3 car lines wide like my fd used and like uniqueTII's car does
