got motor started, stalls at touch of throtle
i finaly got far enough to start the car on friday and now everything is conected as far as i can tell. the pob is that when i touch the gas more than a feather it bogs and stalls, but the idle is good. if i force it to rev (gigleing the gas) it shakes violently. i also have a check motor light, how do i do the trick to get the light to flash to tell you what code it is
this car needs to be driving by sunday next week, so please help me

i was just about too call that out.. afms are pretty touchy.. clean your AFm terminals .. i had a pal will a t2.. we would start his car and it would jump up to 3000 for a few seconds then shut off.. i switched afms and his car started right up... i told him to clean it.. hes driving around again. i have cleaned mine and got my accelerated warm up idle back ..not like thats a good thing(AWS) but you need to have an accurate air flow meter signal for fuel delivery.. and still you should check your tps weither you took it off or not.. crap happens and it only takes a pinch to offset it.. that check motor obviously points to soemthing electronic like and that would be probably something for inputs like your afm your revs(coils) and boost sensor were untouched

i dont know about the plug thing it may still be lighting off all the gas since you have either the trailing or leading there to light it off.. why are you doing that.. to clean the contacts just unplug it get some alcohol or electrical contact cleaner and a brass brush scratch away....oh and it takes 3 minutes to switch coils (from the old wrecked car)
