ok i am going boost and here is my question?
i have a half bridge na s4 will a ported s5 turbo on turbo intake be enough or will i out flow it with the bridge port i have?

Using the stock turbo would make the porting absolutely pointless. All you would achieve is the "brap brap" sound at idle, difficult tuning and poor fuel economy. The turbo would spool instantly but be out of flow by 4000 RPM or so.

Would a 20g work if so what trim? And why I really just want a well matched turbo hp goal is 300 but response is the main goal. And aaron what rpm does your gt35 spool at if you are still running that

The motor is a s4 6port bridge will I the motor out flow the turbo that much even if if is only a half bridge. Na it is pretty responsive just not below 2,600 to be exact

Now, as for your car, I suggest you sell that bridgeported engine. 300HP is easily achieved with a stock port engine and a mild hybrid turbo w/Rtek. No point running a bridgeported engine because all you'll have at that power level is a lumpy idle, poor fuel economy and an engine that is hard to tune.

and you don't need a gt40+ with a half bridge.
i'll let you know how the FBP S5 TII with GT3571R turbo turns out. granted it did have a larger turbo before, this one is more efficient with larger turbine housing(1.06 A/R) to compromise for the changes. with the cheapo master power T70 the turbo was still hardly struggling with airflow, granted it was larger but had a smaller A/R turbine housing.
i hardly see people pushing the potential of bridges though, they are 9500+RPM ports.
but yes, any bridge is too much for a 300whp goal.

This is a lot to think about but some thing tells me to try it the motor is still fresh only 10k on it but I think since it was built for na use the port work was mild I will try a s5 turbo since I have one just sitting here if will be a fun project plus this site need more r&d so I will try it and post the dyno sheet but form what every one is saying if the bridge flows that much then it should spool a turbo that much quicker. So it will be right up my alley the cars main use is mountain run/ autocross so it should be fun

Yeah..the restrictive stock turbine is going to bottleneck that motor BAD. It's going to lack both low end torque as well as high end power. Low port velocity from the bridge will make it a dog until around 4,500rpm, then the turbo will choke power off around 6,800rpm.
But hey..go ahead and do it...might be fast to you.

The turbo waste gate will be modified and ported form what I see this is the biggest problem if I am correct if you out flow a turbo it should over boost due to the waste gate being so small. Also I just heard about a deal for a to4e this morning brand new 200 I may do that but I want to see what the s5 turbo could do instead of guessing on it

bridges also spool the turbo SLOWER than stock or streetported motors do. the high compression engine WILL help combat that issue, but it will still spool slower due to the more aggressive porting of a bridge.
