Good Muffler? Bad Muffler?

Alright, I'm thinking 2.5" or 3" downpipe, then custom piping (2.5" or 3") back to a single muffler where the stock "Y" split is.
Then dual pipes going out the stock locations.

Basically my idea would be
Turbo-Downpipe-Presilencer/Resonator-Piping-Muffler-Y split-dual pipes out the back

I would think this Borla muffler would withstand high temps and make a good sound. What do you guys think?
Borla Single Center to Dual

Then I found this on E-bay.
E-bay Muffler
Do any of you guys think this is a good buy? I really want/need to get my exhaust done so I can not pass out from carbon monoxide fumes! and make it streetable, but I wont have to worry about being smog legal.

So basically I would use the Buy It Now option tommorow if I decide for it. Anyone?

with a rotary - you need to ask yourself what is inside that muffler. If its glasspack, then it will only last you 2 weeks.

Get magnaflows if you want cheap. They work ok but I don't like the sound. I would recomend RB but that is $$$

I like the look of RB, it's so clean and shiny. Godbless stainless steel. And listen to sunshine, rotaries put out rediculously hot exhaust and they will kill a glasspacked muffler in (I think they did a test in mazdatrix) and it said 3 hours...

when you say kill... whats do you mean. whats left?

if all the crap inside a straight through muffler gets melted or hardened or what ever, other than get louder... what makes that bad.

i dont see how straight through could bad. glass or no glass.

now if the actual muffler.. like the outside and housing melt then thats bad.. lol!

jaared

p.s. sorry for the jack

I'm running nothing but two bomz evo N1's on my N/A and it sounds great! They've held up to a months and a half abuse so far

I use a N1 from A'pexi and a Borla XR1 resonator. The resonator flows super well and keeps droning sounds really low. At idle it's the tone is low, and volume is quiet........Well for a 3" turbo back with no cats coming off a TO4B with a 1.15 A/R turbine.
