MO Is this a good deal?

I am going to buy a 87 TII with 76k on it for $2500. Is this a good deal? The interior is in good condition with only the trim right around the radio broken. Other then that the interior looks good and clean. Oh yeah the steering wheel needs to be rewrapped. The exterior has a maaco paint job but looks decent and no rust. The carfax is clean on it and the car was in TX for most of it's life. The motor is stock except for a cold air, manual boost controller, and looks like waste gate, so far as I can tell being new to the rx-7. The car starts up right away and drives nice. The A/C doesn't seem to work but I am not that worried about it since it will not be a DD. Other then that it is all I can think of.

I have some pics on my comp at home I can post up later.

So does it sound like a good deal?

Sounds like a good deal, make sure you get a compression test as well.

yeah it sounds pretty sweet. I picked up my 86 na gxl for 800 with a clean interior with the same radio bezel cracked and the outside had the passanger fender dented in and she has 256k on her and now have 276k plus on her. So yeah let me know how it goes

I think it is a good deal. The engine bay looks clean, fan shroud still there. This seemed to be the first thing to go on any modified RX when I was looking for my 1990 GXL.

she runs pretty good. Car has been sitting for about a year so it needs a tune up. It has a little bit of a high idle and around 3500-4500 it studders when not under boost. I am thinking after changing plugs etc it should fix that and the idle i just need to get under the hood and see what the guy before me has done. It is probably simple. Under boost though it pulls hard all the way through. So far I am really happy with how it is driving. I have a lot of learning to do about thr rotary motor though and this car.
