Good deal?

I am looking for a second generation rx7 and happened to find one locally, but I was wondering if it was a good deal for the price of 2k?

THE GOOD
-new XTD stage 3 6-puck clutch, pressure plate, new throwout
-engine rebuilt at 80k, runs primo, fires like a charm
-all accessories are in working order, TUNERIII cd player
-differential taken care of, works primo
-custom s r intake
-custom 2.5 str8back exhaust (single, skeetz fire, no cop trouble)
-comes with a new S5 transmission, can put it in for an extra $100
-deshrouded and vented for maximum coldair
**EDIT**-short throw shifter incl00ded

THE BAD
-minor rustage on rocker panels and at trunk keyhole
-low back tires, need2b rotated

Well...it sounds to me like its pretty beat up and has been abused. He took off the shroud, which is bad for it. By vented he means 'take off the flash to pass' light covers which does not do much.

The XTD clutch will have to be replaced in the next 5k miles or less.

Rust on the rocker panels i think is hard to fix, and the rust in the keyhole could be an indicator of rust in the rear hatch area.

If you care about the body, the hood looks trashed, there are some pieces missing from the headlights. The interior is missing the idiot lights and surround (parking brake light, oil lever light, coolant light, and the such)

He also makes no mention of the auto adjusting suspension (which is usually bad).

I know there are some 7s in the Michigan area that come around. I think Catahome@aol.com buys them and restores them so you may be able to talk to him about them.

Cool, I sold some stuff to him from the car I parted out. I'm glad they went to a worthy cause.

If your not rushing to get a car, FC's do come around that are a good deal. You just have to be patient.
