Ok, Continuing with the problems with the starter. I recently parked the car at an airport after driving a while (Operating Temp).
I come back and try to start it; nothing. Instead, I get this loud whine from under the car that sounds like an electrical motor. (Starter Solenoid?) Before, I never heard that noise, and I generally just tap the starter to get it working.
This time, It wouldn't start after tapping, only after 4 times of the process did it actually start.
When it did, I could still hear the electrical whine while the car was turning over. Not only that, after it had started, White smoke blew everywhere from underneath the vehicle, smelled bad. Some of it came out the exhaust too and the car sounded like it was about to die.

Is something going on with my fly-wheel or is it all just the starter?

 

Definitely replace the starter, it is an easy and cheap fix (if you do it yourself). After that figure out what all of the smoke is. If it is white, it is most likely coolant...not good.
