Are these reading from a narrow band? If so they are useless.. Like Aaron Cake said, doesn't really matter when under vacuum. I suspect its just the transition from normal operating to close lope that causes the lean condition.

But its pretty useless if measurements are taken from a narrow band. And as long as the car runs smooth, don't worry to much about it.

i checked voltage at the pump while free reving and it was at about 9.xxvolts. was holding rev constant at 3k (AFRs jumped to 16.2:1) voltage stayed the same. AFRs went back down to normal and voltage stayed the same.

after free reving today when it was booging out i disconnected pressure sensor and it went away. did it 3 times in a row, if that helps anyone.
my car also seems to go LEAN at the begining of boost the AFRs will begin to drop, not sure if thats normal.

Just curious here but after reading your thread I have some questions.

You have a factory ECU installed, correct?
You have a FD fuel pump installed.
You have larger than 550cc secondary injectors installed

Why are you not using some sort of fuel management?

17:1 is about as lean at cruise as i ever ran the car, not alot of power but great MPG.
seemed to be the limit of running smooth.

im starting to think its a secondary ignition problem aka my coils.
maybe the crane cam high on leading coil is acting up or maybe coil is going bad?

brand nuew fuel filter in and the same! seems to be getting worse. it feels like when driving and all of a sudden u run out of gas, and it starts like sputtering but only for a few seconds and then goes away. sometimes it gets so bad that i think the car is gonna shut off. anyone have any ideas??!?!?
TO RECAP: WIRES CHANGED (NGK), FUEL FILTER CHANGED (OEM), RUNNING LEADING (i think?)ALL AROUND, TIMING CHECKED TWICE, EMISSIONS REMOVED, FD FUEL PUMP, CLEANEED 550CC PRIMARIES, BRAND NEW 880CC SECONDARIES.CRANE CAM HIGH ON LEADING COIL.......
vac and fuel lines replaced all this within the last 1yr/10k miles.
