well guys,
i got my car after it had been sitting for about 9 months and it is not very peppy, after i got her running and replaced the fuel filter, and air filter, oil change the regular stuff. she is still doggy and i really don't know where or what todo next. what should i do to make her go?

BTW, to your question, try getting the engine real hot to burn off the carbon. Go for a long drive or give it a good blast on the freeway.

 

have you gone through a couple tanks of gas already? if you are still running on 9 month old gas get rid of it!

 

Put some MMO(I'll be putting some in my car) in the gas and oil. Prolly have low compression do to carbon buildup.

 

Yeah you can get MMO at autozone for like 2 bucks. That should help clean out the engine. It is in a red bottle. If you ask the guys there they can help you find it. The actual name is Marvel Mystery Oil.

 

if you run out of ideas the atf trick will defenitely help in boosting your engine back up to speed this is the case where the atf trick really does its magic its not a blown motor and its not a good running motor...the atf will get yours pepping again
