Does Apexi intake fit NA Series 5???
I've heard conflicting views on application for the red cone type intake made by Apexi. Does anyone know if it fits the na series 5? Sometimes I hear it's only for the turbo, and more specifically only for series 5 TII's, ie. it won't fit any series 4 car turbo or na. The Apexi website lists 89-91's but doesn't allude to either turbo or na. No mention is made for a series 4 app. Thanks for your insight.

YES. But you're paying too much for a filter tho.... just buy a K&N, and use the extra cash for some PR 5/6th port sleeves and replacement gaskets for installing them.

I had this filter on a car I sold. It does not mount over the AFM. You need to have the whole kit as the kit supplies brackets that hold the filter in a pressure fit to the AFM. Don't throw out your old rubber gasket on the AFM, you'll need it.
It's a good filter and much more of a "finished" product than a ghetto K&N fix that everybody talks about.
