Glow Gauges-Yes/No?

I'm pondering getting both the main gauges and the HVAC one...Are there any issues with these items?

I've been watching them on e-bay and read some posts on here as well...but want some opinion on it from persons who may have installed them.

if your referring to the ones that are bluish then no, I like the orange gives it character.

No! Stay with the stock black with orange lighting. Something always seems to go wrong with those EL backlighted gauges. Just my .02 though.

The HVAC is white in the day...Stock looking at night.

The Cluster is White in Day- Blue/Green at night has a switch to change colours.

I don't think the white matches the color scheme of the car well, but that is always customizable.

you're right, they don't match the car very well but it is very difficult to find water/oil/pressure gauges that match our stock gauges these days..

I have a nice set of indiglo guages and theyd be perfect if not for one thing, FC GAUGE NEEDLES DONT ILLUMINATE, if they did i'd be stoked. PS before the ******* flaming begins i bought these b/c the cluster was burnt out, not the bulbs itself, but the board.

They look cool though

On the tach and speedo, the needles are noticable enough but the smaller gauges w/ not really being able to see them would worry me.

I wonder if painting them with orange UV reactive paint would work. Do you think the EL has enough floures to activate the UV paint?
